The Capybara
The capybara is the largest living rodent and the closest relative of the guinea pig. It can grow up to 4 feet long and weigh up to 150 pounds. It has a brown fur coat that is water-resistant and a webbed feet that help it swim. It lives in the wetlands and forests of South America, where it feeds on grasses, aquatic plants, fruits, and bark. It is social, vocal, and herbivorous, but also preyed upon by jaguars, anacondas, caimans, and humans.
