The Wandering Albatross
The wandering albatross is the largest living bird by wingspan and one of the most far-ranging of all birds. It can have a wingspan of up to 12 feet and weigh up to 25 pounds. It has a white body with black wings and a hooked beak that can catch fish, squid, and crustaceans. It lives in the Southern Ocean, where it flies for thousands of miles without landing or flapping its wings. It can live up to 60 years and mate for life.
