The Blue Whale
The blue whale is the largest animal that ever lived on Earth, surpassing even the dinosaurs in size. It can grow up to 100 feet long and weigh up to 200 tons. It has a heart the size of a car and a tongue the weight of an elephant. It lives in the oceans, where it feeds on krill, small crustaceans that it filters through its baleen plates. It can consume up to 40 million krill per day, which is about 8,000 pounds of food.
