The Anaconda
The anaconda is the largest living snake and one of the heaviest of all snakes. It can grow up to 30 feet long and weigh up to 550 pounds. It has a muscular body that can constrict its prey and suffocate them to death. It lives in the swamps and rivers of South America, where it feeds on fish, birds, reptiles, mammals, and even humans. It can stay submerged for up to 10 minutes and can move faster in water than on land.
