Your kidneys filter all of your blood about 25 times a day.
Your kidneys are two bean-shaped organs that are located in the lower back of your abdomen. They are responsible for filtering your blood and removing waste products, excess water, and toxins from your body. They also regulate your blood pressure, pH, electrolyte balance, and red blood cell production. Your kidneys process about 200 liters (53 gallons) of blood every day, which means they filter all of your blood about 25 times a day.
