The Liger
A liger is a hybrid between a male lion and a female tiger. It is the largest living cat in the world, reaching up to 12 feet in length and weighing up to 1,000 pounds. It has a mix of features from both parents, such as stripes, spots, mane, and roar. It is usually sterile, but there have been rare cases of fertile ligers that can produce offspring with other cats. Ligers are mostly found in captivity, as lions and tigers do not meet in the wild.
