Can Black Stars Survive Against Luiz Suarez and Uruguay in World Cup 2022 Should it Happen?

The Black Stars of Ghana after sealing a qualification ticket to Qatar 2022 World Cup is awaiting the draw and how things would go prior to the competition.

The Qatar 2022 World Cup happens to be the fourth time the Black Stars of Ghana team is playing at the competition with regards to the 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2022 editions

The Black Stars of Ghana beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria on an away goal records to outclassed Nigeria at the Abiola National Sports Stadium in Lagos to enter into the qualified teams such as Germany, Brazil, France, Morocco, Cameroon, Tunisia, Croatia, England, Argentina, Uruguay etc.

Ghana’s meeting with Uruguay in the previous edition of the FIFA World Cup dealt blow for the Black Stars due to Luis Suarez’s role he played that denied the Ghana team from qualifying to the next stage. Now as Ghana advances to Qatar 2022, should Otto Addo and Houghton meet Uruguay once again what could be the outcome?

A proposed match between Uruguay who plays on a very good notes with world class players like Edison Cavani, Rodrigo Bentacur, Luis Suarez, Lucas Torreira, Federico Valverde, Duego Godin, Jose Maria Gimenez etc could be a very difficult game for inexperienced Black Stars squad.

Ghana could face Uruguay with the likes of Mohammed Kudus of Ajax Amsterdam,Kofi Kyere, of St Pauli, Thomas Partey of Arsenal, Issahaku of Sporting Lisbon etc but the results could be dicey among the two sides.

Luis Suarez could play another significant role for Uruguay should Ghana meet them in Qatar 2022 but this time around, the experienced level of the two teams would be the yard stick for a team to beat the opponent.

Ghana could pull a surprise against Uruguay should Ghana meet them with foreign based players like Tariq Lamptey, Callum Hudson Odoi, Salisu Mohammed.
