MEGAN THEE STALLION, LUDACRIS & TYLA ADDED TO ‘NEW YEAR’S ROCKIN’ EVE’ GLOBAL LINEUP

Megan Thee Stallion, Ludacris and Tyla have joined an all-star lineup for New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

The annual festivities, put on by Dick Clark Productions, will begin at 8:00 p.m. ET on December 31. According to Rolling Stone, the rappers will join Jelly Roll, Sabrina Carpenter, Green Day, Janelle Monáe, Ellie Goulding, Doechii, and Thirty Seconds to Mars.

Post Malone will also be performing live from Las Vegas, and Ivy Queen will join in from Puerto Rico.

Ryan Seacrest will perform main hosting duties, and he will be joined by Ciara, Rita Ora, Jeannie Mai, and Liza Koshy.

The event will be simulcast on 150 iHeartRadio stations nationwide.

Megan Thee Stallion has performed at New Year’s Rockin’ Eve before, back in 2020. At that time, she was in an all-star lineup that included  MGK, Doja Cat, Iann Dior, 24kGoldn, Jennifer Lopez, and more.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will be celebrating its 52nd year on the air in 2023 and the ABC telecast stands as the most-watched New Year’s Eve celebration.

Those who are in Miami for New Year’s Eve might want to stop by the Fountainbleu to see if Cardi B and Offset’s joint performance has a different type of fireworks popping off.

On New Year’s Eve (December 31), both rappers are scheduled to perform at the same hotel in Miami, but at different venues within the building. If that isn’t enough tension already, their set times will also coincide, which makes a side-by-side comparison of their respective draws imminent.

Page Six has reported that the former couple agreed to perform at the Fountainbleu before their romance disintegrated and that the overlap most likely isn’t intentional.

Whereas the New York MC and DJ Gryffin will play to a crowd at the luxe pool with passes “ranging from $5,000 up to $25,000,” the Migos trap star will take the stage at LIV nightclub for tickets between $125 and $15,000.

Homebodies, meanwhile, can check to see if Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have dropped their long-awaited joint album, Vultures.

A rep for the pair confirmed with XXL on December 16 that the album won’t be released until New Year’s Eve (December 31).

The rep also confirmed that the pair will be throwing another rave event in Saudi Arabia to celebrate the album’s release.
