No Ghanaian Donated To Me When I Was Sick – Actor Waakye. Ailing Ghanaian actor, Waakye has made it emphatic that he did not receive a dime from Ghanaians after his fiancée put out a mobile money number.
The actor in an interview with Joy News’ Doreen Avio that the number was announced after his fiancée was pushed to put out a number which will enable the public to contribute.

Waakye stated that no amount was sent to the number when he was sick. According to him, prayers from the public were more important than money.

“If people are putting mobile money accounts out for me, fine, but I have not received a dime from anybody.

So, everyone must know that if anyone is receiving money on my behalf, then they are keeping it,” Waakye stated.

AS a reminder, actor Waakye became famous during the popular TV Drama series “Obra” which was shown on GTV and also campaigned vehemently for Akufo Addo in 2016.

But the sad story as we speak is that the actor has been stuck in bed with stroke and is unable to move for the past two years.

Most recently, the health status of actor Waakye got worse and he was rushed to the hospital. Sadly, he was detained at the hospital for days after treatment because of his inability to pay the medical bills.

I cannot live a day without taking marijuana – Ras Kuuku. Ghanaian reggae/dancehall singer, Ras Kuuku has disclosed the only thing he can never do away without in life.

According to him, marijuana is the only thing he cannot live without. He made this known while giving answers to some question he was asked on Pulse TV.

His response was quite interesting as among all the things he couldn’t forsake, “wee” was on the top of his list.

The truth is, Ras Kuuku is well-known to be one of the Ghanaian musicians who have a special love for smoking.

Full Details : Paul Pogba Officially Retires From France National Team. Paul Pogba has reportedly retired from France international team football after controversial comments made by the nation’s president Emmanuel Macron.

It has been suggested in Middle Eastern media that Pogba came to the decision after comments made by Macron on Friday as well as the government’s honouring of a teacher who mocked the prophet Muhammad.

The dramatic turn of events for the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner comes after the beheading of a school teacher Samuel Paty, which Macron described as an ‘Islamic terrorist attack’.

Macron also added: “Unity and firmness are the only answers to the monstrosity of Islamist terrorism.”

It is believed that as a French Muslim, Pogba was highly offended by the comments made in the media and has now opted to step down from representing Les Blues.

Neither Pogba nor the France Football Federation (FFF) have made an official statement on the tense situation that has erupted over the past few days.
