1. The Box Jellyfish
The box jellyfish is one of the most venomous animals in the world, and also one of the most feared. It is found in the tropical and subtropical waters of the Pacific and Indian Oceans, where it floats near the surface with its transparent body and long tentacles. It can have up to 15 tentacles, each with thousands of stinging cells that can inject a potent toxin into its prey or predators. The toxin can cause excruciating pain, paralysis, cardiac arrest, and death within minutes. There is no effective antidote for the box jellyfish venom, so the best way to survive is to avoid contact with it.
