2. The Black Mamba
The black mamba is one of the fastest and deadliest snakes in the world, and also one of the most aggressive. It is found in the savannas and woodlands of sub-Saharan Africa, where it can grow up to 14 feet long and weigh up to 4 pounds. It has a black mouth and a brown or olive body that can change color depending on the temperature. It can move up to 12 miles per hour and strike with incredible speed and accuracy. It can deliver up to 12 bites in a single attack, each with enough venom to kill 10 people.
The venom can cause severe pain, swelling, nausea, vomiting, convulsions, respiratory failure, and death within hours. There is an antivenom available, but it is not widely accessible or effective.
