The saltwater crocodile is the largest living reptile and the most dangerous crocodilian in the world. It is found in the coastal regions of Asia and Australia, where it can grow up to 23 feet long and weigh up to 2,200 pounds. It has a powerful bite force of over 3,700 pounds per square inch, which can crush bones and shells. It lives in saltwater or freshwater habitats, where it preys on fish, birds, mammals, and even humans. It can swim up to 15 miles per hour and stay underwater for up to an hour.
It can ambush its victims by lurking under the surface and launching a sudden attack. It can drag its prey underwater and drown them or tear them apart. It can kill up to 1 000 people per year in Asia and Australia making it one of the most feared animals in the region.
