DSK Acquaah Promises To Fix Ayeduase-Engineering Gate Road. One of the leading SRC Presidential Candidate for this year’s Kwame Nkrumah University of Science Technology’s SRC elections, DSK Acquaah Jnr, is set to cut sod for the construction of the deplorable Ayeduase-Engineering road linking hostels and environs of the University community.
Master DSK Acquaah Jnr revealed that the move forms part of his efforts towards ensuring that major road networks linking hostels and environs of the University community see massive improvements for the smooth transportation of people and goods which will help create a serene environment for good academic performance.
As a result of this, Team DSK has paid a courtesy call on the Ayeduase Chief, Nana Poku Bawuah Agyemang Bronsanfo II, some private entities and hostel owners to discuss a blueprint of how the deplorable roads can be fixed.
“The Ayeduase-Engineering Gate road has been left unattended for years, making it unbearable for students who ply that route daily for lectures. The road has for years seen a numerous set of advocacies by ordinary students, student activists, and SRC presidents with the intent to fix the road, however, all these advocacies have proved futile. It is of this sense that I embarked on this project together with my team to find a permanent solution to this menace,” DSK said.
Ultimately, the advocacy has yielded results following a positive feed from various stakeholders which include the Ayeduase Chief, hostel owners and individuals who have assured Team DSK of their support to ensure that the road is fixed. To kickstart the project, sod cutting is expected to take place by the close of the week, he added.
