There will be a Lock Down In Ghana soon?

Exactly a week ago, the 31st of May, 2020, His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana gave his 10th update on measures being taken to help curb the spread of the Corona Virus disease in Ghana.

He went on to administer the first stage of easing public restrictions. The President allowed churches to operate under social distancing protocols and with not more than 100 congregants.

The President also went on to open schools, both Junior High, Secondary and the Tertiary Institution. He stated clearly that all precautionary measures will surely be complied as the students go to school.

Few examples of these are the Provision of Three nose masks (reusable) to each students and a hand sanitizer.

Also, the number of students which will be in the classrooms have been reduced.

This first stage of easing of restrictions, will go out of hand. The students are most likely to contract this Corona Virus disease when they are in school because, some do not even believe the realness of this pandemic, and also, the students should not be expected to practice social distancing without strict monitoring.

In the end, when all this is not appropriately met, there will and must be a lock down.Since it is a very ideal way of curbing the fast-spread of this disease in Ghana.
